2024 Carolina Perfusion Symposium Abstract Submission

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for consideration for the Carolina Perfusion Symposium.  All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the CPS organizing committee, and authors will be notified of their abstract status within 2 business days of submission. 

Adult, ECMO, and pediatric & congenital focused abstracts are being solicited.

 

Abstract Guidelines: 

Abstracts must be less than 300 words, and should concisely state the objectives of the study. Abstracts should contain subheadings as follows: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Submissions containing more than 300 words will not be considered. Abstract authors may submit their abstract for consideration as a poster, an oral presentation, or for both. Below is a copy of the Abstract Submission Form.

 

Abstract Awards:

PSPS is pleased to present abstract awards to the most outstanding oral and poster presentations at the meeting each year. Please see below for the various awards scheduled to be presented at the Carolina Perfusion Symposium: 

Outstanding Researcher - This Award will be presented to the individual or group who has presented the most outstanding scientific paper on a research project.

1st Place PSPS Student Scholarship Presentation Award - This Award will be presented to the student who has presented an outstanding scientific paper at the Carolina Perfusion Symposium. The award consists of a prize of a monetary scholarship intended to support perfusion education.

2nd Place PSPS Student Scholarship Presentation Award - This Award will be presented to the student who has presented the 2nd best outstanding scientific paper at the Carolina Perfusion Symposium. The award consists of a prize of a monetary scholarship intended to support perfusion education.

Scientific Poster Award - This Award will be presented to the individual who has displayed the most outstanding scientific poster at the Carolina Perfusion Symposium.
